WORKFORCE HEROs TO BE ANNOUNCED
In honor of September being National Workforce Development Month, the WDB is hosting the Celebrating Solano’s Workforce awards night on September 13 at Travis Credit Union in Vacaville.
This event will honor and celebrate ‘Workforce Heroes’ – the businesses, job seeker and employees, and community partners who support and exemplify workforce efforts in Solano County.
The community was invited to submit nominations for our six awards – Large Business, Small Business, Microbusiness, Adult and Young Adult Job Seekers, and Workforce Partner. All nominees must live in or be based in Solano County.
The deadline to submit nominations has passed. Nominees will be announced at the event.
Celebrating Solano’s Workforce will be from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at Travis Credit Union, One Travis Way, in Vacaville.
Admission is free and the community is welcome to attend.
The awards night is presented by the Workforce Development Board of Solano County
in partnership with Solano-Napa Small Business Development Center and Travis Credit Union.
