DESCRIPTION:In honor of September being National Workforce Development Month\, the WDB is hosting the Celebrating Solano’s Workforce awards night on September 13 at Travis Credit Union in Vacaville. \nThis event will honor and celebrate ‘Workforce Heroes’ – the businesses\, job seeker and employees\, and community partners who support and exemplify workforce efforts in Solano County. \nThe community is invited to submit nominations for our six awards – Large Business\, Small Business\, Microbusiness\, Adult and Young Adult Job Seekers\, and Workforce Partner.  All nominees must live in or be based in Solano County. \nAll nominations must be received by August 11\, 2023 at 3 pm. Late submissions will not be accepted. \nPlease visit Celebrating Solano’s Workforce webpage for details\, to submit a nomination and to reserve your complimentary seat to attend.
