COVID-19 Recovery
The Workforce Development Board (WDB) of Solano County and the America’s Job Centers of California (AJCC) system in Solano County continues to monitor COVID-19 restrictions and guidelines and will provide information regarding services to individuals as they become available. Currently, both the Fairfield and Vallejo Job Centers are open in order to provide services to the growing need of workforce services in our community. We continue to take extra precautions to ensure the health and safety of staff and participants including offering some services, such as workshops, virtually.

Workforce Activities
The WDB is continuing to work diligently to support our job seekers, workers, and businesses during this time. Many in-person gatherings have been limited and may be offered virtually. The WDB will remain open to offer services to individuals including:
- AJCC service delivery for those individuals unable to access Unemployment Insurance or other benefits remotely
- Rapid Response for business and laid off individuals
- Enrolling individuals into programs to provide employment, job coaching, assistance in accessing benefits, and wrap-around supportive services
The WDB will continue to practice social distancing and sanitation standards. Available computers and phones are sanitized after each use. When visiting the job center, it is recommended all wear a cloth face covering, although it is not required. No in person training will be available until further notice. Online virtual and training activities are available. For questions or to receive additional information, please call us at 707-863-3500.
